UPES Dehradun NIRF Ranking 2023 has been officially announced. The University of Petroleum Studies has got the 52nd rank in the NIRF University Ranking list. Also, as per the NIRF Management Ranking list 2023, the university has got the 39th position. The university also received the 54th rank in the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2023.
The UPES Act passed by the State Assembly of Uttarakhand in 2003 created the UPES University. Students interested in Management, Engineering, and Science can take courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels through UPES University's nine schools of study. The QS Asia University Rankings 2023 place the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies ninth among universities overall. The IACBE, NBA, NAAC, UGC, Bar Council of India, and Pharmacy Council of India all accredited Petroleum University, and it has received an A grade from NAAC.
The Government of India, DISR, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and UPES University all recognize the university as a scientific and research organization. The Association of Indian Universities, the International Association of Universities, the World Design Organization, the CII, and the PhD Chamber of Business and Industry all recognise UPES Dehradun as a member. At Dehradun, the institution has two campuses: UPES Bidholi and UPES Kandoli. The institution provides online courses to students through CCE. The Distance Education Council has given its approval to the online UPES Dehradun courses.
With almost 2000 offers, UPES Placements 2023 have been completed. The average package cost INR 8.66 LPA, while the top package was INR 36 LPA. At the placement drive, recruiters from companies including Amazon, ONGC, Boeing, Microsoft India, and others took part. In addition, UPES has worked with several organisations and foreign institutions on both academic and industrial projects. In partnership with Microsoft, it also provides a number of specialities within the B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, B.Pharm, MBA, B.Des and M.Des programmes.
